Pawn Stars : décès du père de l'émission, Richard Harrison

Richard Harrison était connu par tous comme étant l'homme qui a fait de son magasin de prêt sur gages, une star de la télé. Et oui, c'est bien lui qui est derrière l'émission "Pawn Stars". Depuis, son fils, Rick Harrisson et son petit-fils ont rejoint les rangs. Diffusée depuis 2009, l'émission est arrivée en 2014 en France, sur la chaîne CStar, puis C8. C'est Rick Harrisson qui a annoncé la triste nouvelle, via son compte instagram : « Nous nous souviendrons de lui comme du meilleur père, grand-père et arrière-grand-père que nous puissions espérer avoir. Mais aussi parfois comme un adorable grincheux, souvent sarcastique, et la voix de la raison dans l’émission de la chaîne History ».

Richard Benjamin ‘The Old Man’ Harrison passed away this morning surrounded by those he loved. He will be tremendously missed by our family, the team at Gold & Silver Pawn and his many fans the world over. He was my hero and I was fortunate to get a very cool ‘Old Man’ as my dad. That I got to share him with so many others and they got to see what a great family man he was is something I am grateful to have experienced with him. He lived a very full life and through the History television show ‘Pawn Stars’ touched the lives of people all over, teaching them the value of loving your family, hard work and humor. We appreciate everyone’s thoughts and prayers and ask that we are provided some privacy at this time.
